anyone know how they got \[-\pi (1/24)^2\] on the other side?
it's the area of the hole
i want to know how they came up with that... is that given?
The hole is 1 inch, right? That's 1/12 of a foot...
it's 1 inch or 1/12 ft

divide by 2 to get radius
diameter = 1/12, radius = 1/24
