complex variables::: what does it mean when it asks " verify that each function is entire"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the solution to the question is on the first page question 1!!!

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

to prove that a function is entire, you must show that it is differentiable anywhere in the finite plane to show that it is differentiable, you must show that (i) the first partial derivatives are continuous, and (ii) the partial derivatives satisfy the Cauchy-Riemann conditions/equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so basically a function is entire iff it is differentiable anywhere, and that's all?
