I have a math question if anybody can help!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ask away

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay umm...... Which table shows the properties that are true for all right isosceles triangles? Measure of Angles Length of Sides One measures 90˚ and the other two are equal in measure At least two sides are congruent Measure of Angles Length of Sides One measures greater than 90˚ and the other two are equal in measure All three sides are congruent Measure of Angles Length of Sides One angle measures less than 90˚and the other two are unequal in measure At least two sides are congruent Measure of Angles Length of Sides One angle measures 90˚ and the other two are not equal in measure All three sides are of different lengths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure which one it is......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the measure of angles and length of sides words doesnt mean anything it is just there...

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

What does right triangle mean? What does isosceles triangle mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm...right triangle is 90 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and isosceles well...i dont know

OpenStudy (zpupster):

Has a right angle (90°), and also two equal angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone plz help???

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Good. A right triangle has 1 right angle. A right angle measures 90 degrees. An isosceles triangle has at least two sides of the same length.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oo okay I didn't know a isosceles triangle has to have two sides with the same length

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Also, in a triangle, if two sides measure the same, the opposite angles measure the same.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Now put all this information together and read the choices. See which one makes sense.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay....I think I understand what your saying.....is it A?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

yes, A is it. you got it. good job
