Choose the correct slope of the line that passes through the points (−4, 8) and (−3, −6). A: 7 B: −14 C: 0 D: 14

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Use the slope formula. So it would be y2-y1/x2-x1. So -6 would be y2, 8 would be y1. -3 is x2, and -4 is x1. So just plug in and solve. so it's -6+-8/-4+3=-14/-1=14

-14? @Luigi0210

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no.. 14?

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Yes, 14, because two negatives make it positive
