E(-2, 2), F(5, 1)
I have tried this:
Y-2=(-1/7)(x-(-2)
1-2/5-(-2)=(-1/7)
You found the slope: m =(1-2)/(5 +2) = -1/7

I DONT GET IT

ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
By slope formula:
m = (1 - 2)/(5 - (-2))
==> -1/7
Then, by y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 1 = (-1/7)(x - 5)
7[y - 1 = -x/7 + 5/7]
7y - 7 = -x + 5
x + 7y - 7 = 5
So x + 7y = 12
I hope this helps!
