PLZ HELP! ASAP! Is a subhead the same as a deck??? Here are my definitions in my book. An article's subtitle is the deck. It appears after the head and before the first paragraph. The deck gives just a little more information than the head. It doesn't even give me a definition for a subhead. It just says, "There may be a subhead before each section of an article." What is a subhead and is the deck and subhead the same?
