OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this series arithmetic or geometric and what are the explicit and recursive formulas? 100, 75, 56.25, 42.1875...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the series is geometric, you can find the common ratio by dividing each term (after the first) by the previous one. If you always get the same number, then it is geometric.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/3, 4/3, 4/3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then it is geometric. And the number you have is actually 1/r for the geometric series formula.

and for the explicit and recursive? How do i find those?
