f(x) =3x, g(x) =x^2

What are you trying to do with the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find f(g(x)) and g(f(x))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. for f(g(x)), you need to plug x^2 in for x in f(x)=3x which gives you 3(x^2)=3x^2 For g(f(x)), plug 3x in for x in g(x)=x^2. this gives you (3x)^2. Square both the three and the x to get 9x^2
