hm, i iknew u'll ask it....well, Ethidium bromide is a known mutagen. Ethidium bromide is a dye used by scientists to see where the DNA fragments are located in the gel. The fluorochrome ethidium bromide (EB) combines with double-stranded DNA and fluoresces when excited by u.v. radiation....and above all its main purpose is...Ethidium bromide is added to a gel for the purpose of visualizing the DNA during and after electrophoresis. plz give no medal, just share some knowledge related to latest discoveries...
