well, not to diss what others say..but (dont yell at me) taylor because she has had a lot more hits and cds, selena only got more fameos when she started dating justin...taylor might have had a lot of bfs, but it helped her create masterpieces and get awards...as far as i know selena haswnt been at one award show that taylor has been at, if she was, she didnt get an award.

Taylor writes her songs and, despite the fact that shes dated dozens of guys, most of her songs are easy to connect to... They have a "meaning" to a lot of people. If only she'd take "Never back together" off her songs list. :/

Honestly, if Selena came out with more hit songs, then I think she'd be #1. She's gorgeous, but I think she needs to loosen up a bit... don't get me wrong, her songs are great, but mostly mainstream.
