Find the length and width for a rectangle with an area of A(x) = 3x^2 + 8x + 5. Then find the perimeter.

OpenStudy (radar):

Factor it to express the length and width in terms of x. Then express perimeter which is 2w + 2l (twice length plus twice width) all in all you may get 8x + 12 for a solution, however you must verify as you well know I am capable of putting down wrong numbers. I will standby, you let me know what you get when you factor A(x)

Did not get a response............maybe this will help |dw:1362002526222:dw| sNow calculate perimeter see my first post.
