Which is a metaphor? A. He is a man with good humor. B. His hound sticks to his sides like a oak stick to ground. C. He scowls and he scoffs and scolds with disggust D. He is a grizzly bear.
The answer would be B. A metaphor is something that describes something with quality's that it does not literally have, or that are applicable. It compares to things, it's symbolic, and can give things human like quality's like "The branches of the oak tree dance in the wind preforming an elegant dance of love." Trees don't really dance, and they can't love. xP
The answer would be D! simile uses like or as. Metaphors directly compare!
@DragonFall Personification is when you give an inanimate object a human quality.
