Can you help me with some questions about history its only 8 questions i have answer but just want to verify and go over it.
I'm not good with history, sorry. Only with geography :3
sorry not good with italian history.
It is A...Cavour :)
Yes I agree. I would also go with Cavour. Remember Cavour was the leading figure for the Italian unification. Mazzini would also be another good choice but he wasn't as diplomatic as Cavour. von Metternich all I can remember about him is that he was aginast liberalism. Garibaldi is looked at as father figure and was pro liberal. So I say A. Cavour
The aim of the Carbonari was to create a constitutional monarchy. The were willing to do this by any means to do this. By assassination and you name it.
Yes, you are correct :-).
Hmm, it could be Garibaldi or Bismarck. But I am leaning to Bismarck for these reasons: He supported the king, and thus the king supported him. Also Bismarck disliked democracy. So big one there. So Bismarck.
Is it D ?
I think it is D :)
It was later re-used by Hitler. It has to do with his political philosophy's. Bismark stated, " The great question of the day will not be decided by speeches and resolutions of majority ...but by blood and iron ."
I learned he was called "blood and iron chancellor" because of his speech. The speech talked about the unification of the German territories. Out of the choices given I support both C and D. I support: He put political enemies into prison. Because this was true, and it did happen. But he did want to take over Prussia. He also said "History is made by iron and blood" because of this he was given the name. So that supports D. Another things that supports D: "When the German Empire was formed in 1871, he served as its first Chancellor until 1890 and practiced Realpolitik." Since D has a lot stacking up. I think D is the best way to go.
It declared the Franco-Prussian War. So in other terms: It started the Franco-Prussian War. Or C. would be your answer.
didn't it start the Franco-Prussian war.
cool...we agree
the third one
Yup, @kelliegirl33 is correct.
Do you agree op
So do I :)
I can't seem to make out the text on the arm :| I do remember that France used to change alliances multiple times to prevent the leadership of one nation or alliance. So I do see the second happening. So yes I agree with you both :-).
Franco-Prussian War lead to WWI. It also lead to the German empire lead by Prussia. So I am stuck between the two: It was because of this war that Germany began its military dominance in Europe. The war allowed Prussia to begin to reassert its military dominance in Europe. Not sure which one. But I'm strongly leaning toward Germany.
Okay @kelliegirl33 what do you think And thank you both for your help if u ever need something just tell me :)
