1'st set up the proportion. put  4 bags  9 bags
                                             --- x     ------
                                             20 mins     x 
cross multiply 20 * 9, then divide by 4
20*9 / 4 = 45 minutes. 
always put the same thing you are solving for either on top or the bottom, the numerator has the number of bangs and the denominator has the number of minutes and x you are solving for.
