You should not be looking at functions of two variables unless you have LONG established an understanding of function notation and I mean LONG! So, seriously, if you cannot do this problem on your own, please go talk to your academic advisor and go take the prerequisites for this course. I'm neither joking nor being mean. This is a serious pathology you have demonstrated.
