Find the interval of existence of: y''+(sinx)y'+xy=e^x, y(0)=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean by interval of existence? Like the values of x where the function is defined?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep

Use method of undetermined coefficients.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't need to solve it, I just need to find the interval of existence!

OpenStudy (abb0t):

I think you need to solve it first to get a set of solution and then use Wronskian.

I'm completely lost now! How do I do that? I only know how to solve the second order differential equations in the form: y''+Qy'+Py=0, but there is an extra e^x here
