How many different committees can be formed from 7 teachers and 33 students if the committee consists of 4 teachers and 4 students.... In how many ways can the committee of 8 members be selected?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its simple if u need to chose r things from n things its given by C(n,r) = (n!)/((r!)*(n-r)!)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It seems very simple but there is something that I am missing... I can't figure it out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thus here it is C(7,4)*C(33,4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right.... I got that far.. But when I plug in the answer that I get from that formula, it tells me that I am incorrect

Directrix (directrix):

@tthomas0557 When you cranked out the result of C(7,4)*C(33,4), what number did you get?
