what is the lim as x approaches infinity of (e^x)(sinx)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im thinking infinity .. because e^inf is inf and sin(inf) is inf .. is this true?

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):

MIND IT sin(inf) is not equal to inf sinx lies only between -1 to 1 so the e^x factor dominates since it tends to infinity but since sin x is fluctuating between -1 to 1 then limit fluctuates between -inf to inf so it`s of oscillating nature or limit doesn`t exit

oh yeahhhh, thanks !

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):
