need help desperately!

If you say so.

lol, this is what i need to do. 1.Discuss with another student, parent/guardian, or a friend a common activity the two of you share. 2.Write a word problem describing the time it takes to complete this activity individually and together. 3.Write a rational equation based upon the word problem you created. 4.Solve the rational equation. this is the example they gave me, but i stil have to make one of my own For example, if John takes 2 hours to mow his lawn and it takes his sister, Maria, 4 hours to mow the same lawn, how long would it take John and Maria to mow the lawn together? The rational equation based upon the scenario above would be 1/2+1/4=1/x Each fraction represents the amount of the lawn mowed in one hour. The fraction of 1/2 is John’s portion. Maria’s share is represented by 1/4 The time it would take for both of them to mow the lawn is represented by 1/x

Number one is a personal question, which cannot be answered by anyone but yourself. Number two relates to number one, also personal. Number three is also... Number four is... I really don't know how to answer these, as they are testing your own personal knowledge and opinion...

thanks... for the help

Sorry I can't really help. Perhaps someone else might, try mentioning some lifesavers.
