Find dy/dx for the given value of theta. r=2+3sin theta, theta= 3pi/2

OpenStudy (mrhoola):

dont you have to find dr/d(theta) ..? isnt the question asking fo the derivative.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The derivative of r? So it'd be dr/d(theta)=-3costheta?

OpenStudy (mrhoola):

i beleive the derivative of sin is POSITIVE cosine , but the rest looks correct

OpenStudy (mrhoola):

now just evaluate cos (3*pi/2) = 0
