pleasee HELP ME! In the State of Florida, a redfish must be at least 18 inches long, but no more than 27 inches long for the fish to be considered a keeper. Choose the combined inequality that describes this scenario. 18 <= x <= 27 x >= 18 and x >= 27 x <= 18 or x >= 27 none of the above

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Let's look at a similar example with different numbers. Let's say you want to express that x can be any number from 5 to 20. To express x is greater than or equal to 5, you write x >= 5. If you turn it all around, and write 5 <= x, which is read 5 is less than or equal to x, you have expressed the same thing. So 5 <= x means the same as x is greater than or equal to 5. If you want to express x is at most 20, you write x <= 20, which is read x is less than or equal to 20. If you want to express x is at least five, but x is no more than 20, you write: x >=5 and x<= 20, but x>= 5 is the same as 5 <= x, so you can write it as 5 <= x and x <=20, or you can write it as a compound inequality: 5 <= x <= 20

is it the first one?
