How do I cite a book or article that cites another book or article and has it in their bibliography? Do I cite the other book or article or the book or article I am reading it from?

from what i am reading i think that you would have to look up one of the books/articles and then do the same to the other set.. But i am not quite sure.. lol haha i am just stating this from my perspective (: let me know if it helped if not then i am really sorry :/

If you are utilizing quotations or verbatim material from the original article, cite the original article. If you are utilizing a section of article that does not use cited material from the original article, then cite the article you are using.
