Solve each system by elimination. Heather's school is selling tickets to a play. On the first day of ticket sales the school sold 4 senior citizen tickets and 3 child tickets for a total of $55. The school took in $ 84 on the second day by selling 8 senior citizen tickets and 4 child tickets. What is the price each of one senior citizen ticket and one child ticket? 4s + 3c = $55 8s + 4c = $ 84 Is this the right equation to use to figure out the problem? I am just curious just to make sure and I gladly appreciate if you help. ^.^ and thank you.
