Your piggy bank has a total of 47 coins in it; some are dimes and some are nickels. If you have a total of $3.95, how many nickels do you have? i have to write the answer exactly as tehy put it into the computer or i get it wrong !

The question asks " how many nickels do you have?"

oh right so i can put N = 15 N-15 There are 15 nickels. There are 15/fifteen nickels in the pggy bank. i have to write it precisely.

there are many ways i can write it. but only way is right. idk how im supposed to write it.

With word problems it is a good idea to include the units in the answer: "15 nickels"
