If the sixth term of a sequence is 128 and the common ratio is 2, then what is the first term? I got 2

@yummydum will u help me

OpenStudy (zehanz):

To get back at the first term, you need to divid 5 times by 2, or once by 2^5 = 32. So the first term would be 128/32 = (not 2)

4

OpenStudy (zehanz):

Yes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128
