Here's how you do it:
108x = 180(x-2)
(the "x-2" comes from dividing the pentagon into triangles. All polygons follow the rule a = 180(s-2), where a is the sum of the interior angles, and s is the number of sides in the polygon.)
108x = 180x - 360
72x = 360
x = 5
