i need help simplifying radical expressions? please explain if you can i would appreciate it! 1. √3 + 4√3 2. 2√6 +3√96 3. (8 + √11)(8 - √11) thanks!

for 1.) can you factor √3 from both terms ?

for 2.) factor the numbers inside the square root and look for pairs of numbers to "pull out" of the square root

OpenStudy (phi):

for 3.) use FOIL to multiply it out. you have a version of (a+b)(a-b) = a^2 - b^2
