"Archetypes" are more like models of people, and personalities.

I haven't read a lot about Carl Jung's work.
But I came across "archetypes" when I was learning about dreams.
According to Jung,
"archetypes" are symbols that our minds use, in order to express ideas and emotions in our dreams.
