"Archetypes" are more like models of people, and personalities. I haven't read a lot about Carl Jung's work. But I came across "archetypes" when I was learning about dreams. According to Jung, "archetypes" are symbols that our minds use, in order to express ideas and emotions in our dreams. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have you heard of the "collective unconscious"? The Collective Unconscious is the unconscious part of our minds that we have in common with every other human on earth.
