i never knew time would make me feel more than what i already feel. shame came to a light that blinded me, when all my regrets came out of the curtains and happiness was left to fade. delay, delay. i would like to take back everything i ever said wishing i had never met the person i would love most. but now you forget what hangs on like a promise is the go of let. something normally not taught because you haven't lost yet. my breath on a border every step shaking. 'Cause i've never felt like this by far in the making. When time was actually set and hearts weren't pacing. now i run feeling foolish and gasping for air. praying for something that isn't there. just asking myself where? when conduct and memory wasnt present in the atmosphere. when time was just a form of ghost and insecure fear.

You people are ridiculous. I feel like I'm reading a teen soap opera between this poem on the comments. How about some discussion about music. Lyrics are not music. Nobody seems to understand this.

Lyrics are the start to music. Just like poems. Music is suppose to represent feeling and emotion...wouldn't you agree? Just becuase ppl write depressing things, or don't talk about the actual characteristics of music does not mean you can put down everyone's work. I think you are a very intelligent person, but i have to disagree with the way you have commented on other's work. @tanner23456

To be honest, I don't mean to put down the poem. I think it definitely has potential to become music. It was mainly the dramatic teenage comments that got me. "most people don't understand me." "I like people who are different." I don't think I've ever heard more stereotypical teenage things. The poem just adds to it. As far as lyrics being music. I'm sorry, but they're not. Lyrics are lyrics and music is music. They are two different things. Too many people focus on lyrics when in reality, it doesn't matter until you write a good piece of music.

I agree, but i also think (my personal opinion) that lyrics is what gives the music more....meaning...not sure if that's the word im looking for at the moment. but i do feel as if music itself (without words) expresses more feeling and eomotion.
