I graphed both and so far I wrote down 
These are both rational functions but the first one is up and the second is down. 

But I need to know how to get the domain and range. Thanks!

Wouldn't call them rational functions, but linear functions...
Rational functions are e.g. f(x)=(x+2)/(x²-3)

To find the domain, you must ask yourself: what numbers can I use to put into these functions? ANd: are there any restrictions?
