How many medians are needed to find the centroid of a triangle, and why?

Directrix (directrix):

A median is a segment drawn from a vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side.

Directrix (directrix):

The three medians of a triangle (one from each vertex acccounts for three possible medians) are concurrent. Concurrent means that the three medians intersect at a common point. That point is called the centroid of the triangle.

Directrix (directrix):

Knowing that all three medians of a given triangle intersect in the same point, it is only necessary to draw two of them. Where they interesect will be where the third median, if drawn, would pass.
