What's the difference between an ode and a lyric poem?

I believe an ode is more like an old viking story and a lyrical poem is more greek. I cant promise anything for sure but that's what i think. I know that some greek poets actually sang their songs and had a lyre which was a musical instrument, so maybe the lyrical poem has music. No promises but I hope this helped a little.
