Using the figures below, what is the perimeter of the 5th rectangle in the pattern?

I'm not looking for the answer, I'm looking for how I could find the answer. Thanks :)

The dimensions are pretty straightforward; the first rectangle has a side dimension of 1, the second 2, the 3rd 3, etc.

The lengths of all of them are simply the side+1.

So continue that sequence 2 more times and you end up with the dimensions of the 5th rectangle.
