Calculating the volume of a cylinder I have a cylinder. The diamter is 8 and the heigh is 12in. So its v-3.14r^2h So 3.14(4^2)(12) (3.14)(16)(12) and I keep getting 602.88 which is wrong please explain what im doing wrong!!! The choices are 1.256pi in^3 2. 224pi in^3 3.192pi in^3 4. 768pi in^3

Perhaps you did not measure it correctly.

Because clearly they didn't multiply pi into it.

They left it unmultiplied.... just tacked it on to the side.
