whats S? the circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's the Radius?

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

what does the question mean by radius of S?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The distance between the circle?

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

distance between which cirlces? S is a circle? its looking its the centre of the circle. you know what radius of a circle is right? the distance between centre of the circle and any point on the circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, so would the answer be 12.2?

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

read it again. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN CENTRE OF THE CIRCLE AND ANY POINT ON THE CIRCLE. NOT DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO POINTS ON THE CIRCLE.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6.1 would be the answer then, sorry.

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

absolutely. :)
