Please help me simplify the following function (click to see).

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

\[-\frac{ (4-2x)^4 }{ 8 }\]

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

I would treat this as \[(-\frac{1}{8})(4-2x)^4\] and set the \((-\frac{1}{8})\) aside while doing the grunt work of expanding \((4-2x)^4\). \[(4-2x)^4 = \]Can you write that as a product, and then expand it?
