okay this is what i got. help? Once upon a time there was a scientist who loved to mix all sorts of things. He liked making explosions with different chemicals and making things change colors. One day he decided to make his dog change color. It worked, but the dog was furious because he didn’t like the color green! He eventually got so mad he started turning red! Fido ran away from home because all his friends starting laughing at his fur and how it changed colors. He headed into the woods to seek refuge and found and old abandoned house. There he found all sorts of scientific tools. After a week he found out how to make things change colors just like his owner. He wanted revenge so bad he started turning the bears different colors. he was also getting very hungry so he turned them into gummy bears and started eating them!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mabey the dog could change colors like a mood ring how he feels

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!!! iluvv that so awsme good job!!!! i would give yuh a A++++

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I like that I wanna be a proficanal righter when I grow up I right mostly chapter books

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good luck!

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

Wait, that's the story? It could use more detail and clarity

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

it would be good to think about the message you want to deliver to the reader (child) of this story. what do you want that child to think and feel?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey ithink its a good childs book sheesh she prolly just wants to bs it like i do

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

i agree with previous poster it could use more detail and clarity. how does fido learn to use tools? and turn bears into gummies? in stories, unless a character is magical (and even if it's a dog) the actions need to make sense. maybe you could explore the dog's journey in the forest and who he meets there and how he feels and what he learns about overcoming his problem of hating his color. it is good to give a character a problem to solve and then to describe the process the character goes through to learn something important about the world or about him/herself.
