I have the answer can someone just check me please. Which of the following is f '(x) for f(x)=8x^2+8e^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f'(x)=16x+8e^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer I got was (ln8)16x+e^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=8(2x+e^x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16x+8e^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then that is my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur answer have a ln(8) which you don't need in this particular case

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about (ln8)16x+8e^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one of the fascinating functions in maths is e^x because it is the same as its derivative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that one is unfortunately wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or (ln8)16x+e^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(ln8)16x+e^x is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so then 16x+8e^x is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

ur welcome!
