25+11b=47/12 How do I go about solving this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well one way to make this easier to go about calculating is by multiplying both sides by 12 to get rid of the 12 in the denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then from there it should be easier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

transpose 25 to the other side beside 47/12 and it will become -25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so I multiply both 25 and 11 and it would be (blank)+(11b) = (blank)
