If f(x) = x + 4, find f(3) i dont understand what to do, please help. (try not to give me the answer, i just need to understand it)

Basically, they want you to find the value of f(x) when x = 3.

in other words, f(3) means what's 4+3 ?

Correct, just plug in the number in between the parenthesis for every x in the function which, in this case, is just once.
