|dw:1362459097830:dw| Four triangles, five boxes. Find the area of all, that might help.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the octagon can be divided up into 8 congruent triangles which have the same area the height of each triangle is 30/2 = 15 inches, the base of each triangle is 12.43 inches |dw:1362459060762:dw|

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so if you can find the area of this triangle |dw:1362459209907:dw| then all you have to do is multiply that result by 8 to get your final answer
