It's the dropdown border.
Look at our images.
Your border is green. Mine is the same color as the dropdown background.

@Compassionate I had the same problem until I realized that I could change the font/text size in the design layout of my browsers. Mine was in "normal" front; but I changed it to a smaller font size. The result - I have perfect symmetry in OS, and my font isn't too much smaller than what I originally had. Also (as you may know) some fonts are automatically smaller or take up less room than others, even at the same size. For instance, Calibri, size 12, is smaller than Times New Roman, size 12. Hope that helped! :D

Mine is: 
Font : Garamond. (it's on the really small side) Font size: 12 :)
