In quadrant one, all are positive, in two, sine is positive and the others are negative, in three, tangent is positive and others are negative, and in four, only cosine is positive. You can remember this with the acronym ASTC. If you want, you can even use a mnenomic device. One of my favorites is "Angels [are] Silly Tuesdays, Children."
