Applying the subtract-shift algorithm (Solution included): http://i.imgur.com/CxgHBAq.jpg For example, when i = 5, 10001011_2 = 139_10 > 0 but the solution says that 10001011_2 > 0 is not true so, what's going on there? Also, how was 00101011_2 – 10100000_2 = 10001011_2 obtained? Any help in getting me to fully understand how to do this problem would be greatly appreciated!
