A model is made of a car. The car is 9 feet long and the model is 6 inches long. What is the ratio of the length of the car to the length of the model?

What are your options.

18 : 1 1 : 18 9 : 6 6 : 9 but I also want to know how to do it :p

The ration is 6:9 because it is six inches per nine feet. If you 23 feet and 9 inches your ratio would be 9:23. I am not 100 percent sure why but the number that is not the original goes first.
