I'm looking. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tafkas77 For what, may I ask?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. frog23 was absolutely correct in asking the user to close the post because it wasn't corresponding to the subject. And the user was very rude, which infringes upon the OS Code of Conduct. However, the Terms of OS say this: "In addition, you agree not to use the Service or the Site to: harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users from the Service or the Site by electronic or other means for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or other unsolicited communications;" Technically, that user wasn't breaking any rules except for the ones about posting in the wrong subject, and for being rude, because those other user were agreeing to give her information. That's their call. Alerting Preetha/admin about the situation was the best you guys could do. :) The question is closed now. If something like this happens again, just do the same thing you did this time - only, maybe next time you could ask them to use Private Messages for that sort of thing.
