-3x^2+3x+2=0

Parth (parthkohli):

Two numbers that add to get \(3\) and their product is \(-6\). Tsk tsk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you trying to solve for x? If so, you should get 1/6*(3+sqrt(33)) or 1/6*(3-sqrt(33))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes im solvin for x but im confused as to how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Try using the quadratic equation. -3x^2+3 x+2 = 0 a*x^2+b*x+c = 0 | x | indeterminate variable a | quadratic coefficient b | linear coefficient c | constant coefficient (x = (-b±sqrt(b^2-4*a*c))/(2*a)) (x = (-3±sqrt(3^2-4(-3)(2))/(2*(-3)) And then solve above.
