It helped America's economy. Remember US was the number one provider of ammunition, and food during WW1 for the Allied powers. The war made our industry and market explode because so much was being built and being sold off for war well fare, which was amazing for the economy. It didn't hurt our reputation because it made us seem as a strong adult nation. It did not help international economy because obviously the main countries WWI fighiting such as German was blamed for the war and their economy collapsed.
