OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol :) whats your question??

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

\[4x ^{2} - 32x + 48 / 3x ^{2} - 17x -6\]

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

lol no, not 911 xD unless that's a user. I just figured out how to work this, bear with me guys

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

Lol, i am sorry, Well if u have anymore questions about this site message me or ask me if u see me in a chat.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol I got you....... I got you......give me a second to come up with an answer!!

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

So, I mean, what I have so far is the simplified(?) version of the top equation. 4(x^2 - 8x + 12) --> 4(x-2)(x-6) @dmezzullo I'll be sure to! @space4cadet101 Thank you!

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

*top part of the equation

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you have a rational expression. It has many properties that can be obtained from it. But without knowing what you are having to do with it, its pretty nominal at best.

OpenStudy (phi):

you can try factoring the bottom using this as a first guess (3x )(x ) the numbers after the x terms have to be factors of 6: either 1 and 6 or 2 and 3 (with different signs)

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

I'm sorry guys, I totally just went through the lesson a millionth time, did the equation with the instruction video, and I get it now. Thanks for all your help, though!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

as long as you get it now, its all good ;)
