OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

Do identical twins develop from the same fertilized egg?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They do! What happens is a single fertilized egg splits into two separate embryos. From there the two embryos share a single placenta either in the same sac, or in two different sacs. I hope I helped:)

OpenStudy (theslytherinhelper):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are very welcome! Thank you for the medal and for fanning me:)
